Black Network Television

Michael and Ramona Woods have been married for more than 22 years and are the proud parents of two daughters. Michael attended North Carolina A&T State University, and Ramona received her Associates Degree from Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina.

In 2011, Michael and Ramona launched Black Network Television, the first African American- owned television station in the state of North Carolina. Through excellence in broadcasting, Black Network Television's mission is to be a voice of a people that has not been heard, show a picture of a people that has not been shown, and tell a story of a people that has yet to be told. Currently, the network serves 28 counties in North Carolina and Virginia, reaching more than 4.2 million viewers.

Our viewership spans over 4.2 million viewers that reach as far north as Martinsville, VA, as far south as Laurinburg, as far west as Charlotte, NC, and now we are affiliate with WAUG TV 8/Time Warner Cable 1231 in Raleigh, NC.
